Sunflower

Happily, she sways,
Seeking gods praise,
Warmth from his blaze,
Inferno of heat,
Golden rays shine,
Her energy and strength,
Reaches high,
Winning her prize,
Yellow sunflower,
Huge petals, bathe
Celebrating her love,
Searching for light
Lifting spirits,
Cheerful and bright
What a beautiful sight
Standing so tall,
Rejoicing choir joins in,
Worship begins.

You use good imagery, and maintain a poetic flow throughout the whole piece. Your words took stage and treated the reader to a glimpse of your imagination and a peek at your heart. Emile.
