The way the poem is showing up on the page is not the same as on the page where I typed it in...This is Maximilian Sunflower..
Nip in the air speaks loudly
Seek a warmer place in the sun
Sun slowly speaks with a southern drawl
Her lavender dress creeping behind
Trailing a beautiful skirt on morn's horizon
Max, Maximilian Sunflower almost outsparkles the early sun
The sun that slowly glows orange through the Leland Cyrpress and woodsy trees
Whitey waits huddled against the corner post cold needing Sun to hurry along so she can
climb onto the roof enjoying the radiant heat
Nip wants to send me away so that warmth will penetrate aching bones
Desiring to visit with the weak crowing rooster's song for just a moment longer
Those moments that are swiftly passing now as the sun's radiant golden light comes higher
with sun loosing her gown of lavender
Becoming naked before the earth for their joining of spirits to reciprocate love for each other
Thanks to God for the day and for the life and beauty to enjoy once more!
