Notes About The Poem

Sunday visit

She doesn't remember her son.
She lives somewhere in the distant past.
She's happy, that's what counts.

appreciate the perspective...reminds me of my aunt who suffers from dementia...she never remembers me but I appreciate the time and the joy I see on her visit...the visit isn't about me, it's about her.
