Sunday Prayer

A whisper in the faint dawn takes flight,
Sweet words, a gentle, earnest plea,
Illumes the spirit, pure and bright,
Bringing a wave of peace, serene and free.
The heart takes ease, a weight begins to lift,
A noteworthy feeling, a tender gift,
Transforming the world, for all to see.
