Sunday Naps
The best naps are Sunday afternoons
In the end of May before the start of June
When the world seems at peace a gentle ease
With a rebirth of green from dormant seeds
After showers of April rains
And the lawn mowed from Saturday
Sweet as the breeze of a mild but warm day
Sunday afternoon too lazy to even play
The body tired for a day of rest
Relax and replenish for the best
Deep the sleep nourishing perhaps
Even the soul enjoys those Sunday Naps
