Sunday Morning Sun
I looked out my front door this early morning Sunday
I felt a warmth from the gentle heat of the sun's rays
She's big and strong and will usually have her own way
In my region, she starts cooking in the month of may
She's appointed by God to rule over the day
She's under His control; no need for dismay
Like each of us, she has her need to have her say
No need to worry about anything being in disarray
She is unlike humans who often roam and go astray
She nurishes us faithfully with nutrients never saying nay
We on earth are divinely spaced so all will be well and okay
Many like to bath in her on river banks. bays, and ocean beaches,
And joyful children will run. Jump. Skip, hop, and laugh while they play
At times the clouds will turn to gray and block her sway, or storms will hinder her stay, but we can always count on her to return with a smile saying hello and hey. Like all the universe in God's Great Domain, She's also a worshiper as God
Has ordaoned. She worships everyday as should we, not just on Sunday
Mornings.
