Sunday Blues Reprise

Everyday is Sunday to me, these days,
Disabled, shut in, homebound,
No wonder I spent such time on the soup...
I loved to work....
Went more than ten years withou missing a day,
But now I miss work everyday

Interacting with humans,
I only have that on the Soup now,
And am so thankful for that...

I have things still unsaid
Bridges to cross
fences to mend...
For my health has limited my time,
And that does not trouble me

For we all have limited time,
I'm rather lucky for a time frame
I regret a few things,
But I'm proud,
That I know, and does God,
That I never hurt anyone maliciously,
And I am a "Giving Person"

I have succeeded in so many things,
I have failed in so many others,
But when judgement day comes
I will be quite satisfied
With whatever they choose...
For I traveled that road,
Of my own free will
And in the end,
It only matters,
What I think of me.
