Sunday

Silence and peace not a word can be heard.

Upon the couch I lounge with not a single concern.

Newspaper in hand, coffee cup at my side I relish
with such delight.

Dawn soon will rise and peace soon be gone with
the bussel of children so full of charm.

Again I will wait for the next Sunday morn to rest
and relax, asleep they will be bringing me peace,
I longingly need.

Yes my family means the world to me but each
of us needs a little something for me.
