Sun Rise

The black night, Suddenly filled with light, Not a bright light, But a steady glow, As it grows. The quiet and peaceful, Disturbed by flitting, And tweeting, Little birds singing, From their upmost being. The gray has moved on, To a soft orange and blue, The sun now shines steadily on the dew. The birds continue, To sing as I listen, Watching the dew glisten, Day is not far away, But I must say, The Sun Rise was exhilarating! It won't come again until tomorrow, In many ways the same, But always will each one be different, As long as the Sun Rises I'll feel no sorrow!
