A Rictameter
A nine line poetry form. The 1st and last lines are the same with the syllable count as follows: line 1 - 2 syllables - same as line 9 line 2 - 4 syllables line 3 - 6 syllables line 4 - 8 syllables line 5 - 10 syllables line 6 - 8 syllables line 7 - 6 syllables line 8 - 4 syllables line 9 - 2 syllables.

A wish, softly whispered under a shooting star. My empty heart yearns for a love that’s real; not merely a fanciful dream. I close my eyes and concentrate, summoning happiness to come fulfill a wish. (Rictameter) 06,14,2019

Me too, Emile. Some days happiness seems to be on the run. But when I tell the universe the truth of who I am, happiness seems to come a bit closer. Wshing you the best. Hugs, Catie :-)
