Summing Up 2022

Not every road I traveled was paved,
some day’s were encumbered with concern.
I had good days that I so craved,
and thoughts that God let me discern.
While traveling down a slippery slope,
I found days smoother as I slowed down.
It was always in Jesus that I found my hope,
He moved my demeanor to smile from frown
Sometime I missed opportunities God had placed before me
as I dealt with health issues,
But at every moment I gave thanks unto the Lord.
