Summertime Joy

The time when sand awakens
To hear the sound of feet
Rumbling to the rhythm
And the crashing of the sea

My heart shall remember
Of honeysuckle dew
In summer and in springtime
When flowers grew anew

The happiness I still know
To be true to me
In summertime it comes
With the buzzing of a bee
