Summertime

Sun, sand, surfing the waves,
  Sexy swimsuits: we've got it made in the shade.
Umbrellas in martinis and lined in a row
  On beaches and resorts wherever you go.
Maui, Mexico, or even the Maldives;
  If these are your vacation spots, now's the time to leave.
Maybe a staycation is more your speed;
  Enjoy with friends and family. Take as much as you need.
Everybody's glad that summer has arrived;
  School is out! Let's go outside!
Remember to mask up. Be safe and have fun.
  But don't do anything foolish otherwise you're done!
Time to chill out, relax and unwind,
  And leave all of your stress behind.
Ice cream and cold beverages will quench your thirst,
  Especially when the heat is the worst.
Music, barbecues, games galore,
  Laughter everywhere. Who could ask for more?
Ever wished it could stay this way?
  I wish it was summertime every day.
