A hot day in June
With the falling of the night
The rising full moon

Thank you for your comment on my poem. Since June has the longest day of the year and the full moon in that month fell right about that time there was a lot of light therefore night was not very distinct. Sara

Lovely image and it has been unbelievably hot this June in N. Florida. Is it time for the rising moon? With all of the recent thunderstorms and tornadoes here, I haven't seen a clear sky. I'll be on the lookout for the welcome lifght of the full moon. Beautiful haiku, Jim. Love, Carolyn
