Summers Sigh

A near end summer breeze sends shivers,
that gently brush the surface of my skin.
“I’ll see you as time goes by” cries out the wind.

August winds bring fall days,
to reflect upon summer memories made.
“I’ll see you as time goes by” shout the new friendships made.

A summer like no other one yet,
in the direct limelight of it all
“I’ll see you as time goes by” begin the wandering whispers of fall.

From stress to relaxation,
a whirl wind tour these past few months have been.
“I’ll see you as time goes by”,
Summer sighs as it says goodbye.
