Coo, coo, coo
Tweet, tweet, tweet
A symphony so sweet,
A bark, a lark
Splash, splash, splash
Screams so shrill
A lad yells
"Cannon ball!!"
Caaawooosh!
Trickle, drip, trickle
Katydid's musical call
Thick humid air
Tree frogs, pray for rain
To cool their scorching skin
