Summer's Delight

we swam into the ocean
on a warm summer night
till the morning light
the ocean breeze
drifted and brought me to my knees
our love filled the ocean
we floated into the shore
till we wanted more
my arms grew wide
the waves rolled in
we floated back out to sea
this is the way our love ought to be
the night soon passed away
our passion rose with the rolling tide
you held me tight
all through the night
our love now drifts into the ocean
while our memories float away
