Summer Time

A lake so calming-

 when frozen, now children splash.

  The Sun in control.

That sun brings excitement to the lake, Gareth. Winter does seem to be a period of hibernation associated with more solemn moods, but summertime never fails to rejuvenate us. Indeed, we all splash like children when an inviting sun beckons. This is a terrific haiku! Love, Carolyn
