Summer Time

Summer time so hot and fun I love the beach and the white sand We love to play under the big bright yellow sun Watch out for you will burn and not be tanned Clouds in the pretty blue sky Look there is a huge colorful bird up really high He is circling around and around he has my eye I love to swim-play in the cool fresh seawater Having fun-playing there are some sea otters Sea otters love to swim underwater The sand is sure hot I am off to run I hope this fun will not get out of hand It's almost time to say bye What a long day it is getting hotter Date Written: 7/15/2021 4 Place Note: Rhyme Writing Prompt - Fragmented Spaces Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Constance La France

Great poem Paula, nature is always a heal for the mind and spirit. You perfectly followed the contest direction, but please try to edit the two lines verses. There should be no space between the lines—best wishes for the contest.
