Summer Symphony
The crimson sunrise sets the hazy horizon on fire,
showing the day the simmering summer hasn’t gone.
The spectrum of dawn turns to ashes in smoky sky,
shrouding the fleeting detritus of desiccated cloud.
Sensual hot winds blow over the mellowed meadow,
through parched trees, and brace dry leaning leaves,
absorbing the arid glare of scorching sunburst splash,
in the shelter of their shade I find my reverie repose.
With the rippling southern zephyr of tinged twilight,
waft the warm shades of hues the dusk sprinkles
on my blank canvas I get from the departed spring,
where I paint pristine panorama of summer solace.
Draped in dulcet moondust dancing in ethereal delight,
the tepid flakes of the satin night drizzle in balmy air
on the rhapsodic waves of my mind’s fathomless sea,
where I sail enticed on the melody of summer symphony.
