summer sweat and sting

bed blazes in heat
bloodsuckers taste my red dews ~
life feeds upon life?

'life feeds upon life' Yes, I'm sure something microscopic feeds upon them too. Well depicted.

A vivid, visceral summer senryu that makes the heat and mosquito attack almost tangible. “My red dews” is a striking image, and the final question opens the small domestic irritation into a compelling reflection on nature’s relentless cycle.
