Summer Sun

Summer Sun

The summer sun has arisen
It’s golden, round frame
Beams light upon the earth
Gets absorbed by the dirt
Attracting honey bee and hummingbird
Its bud blossoms into
A flower of the sun
Dances to the
rhyme of the drum
Its seeds to a bird’s satisfaction
It’s mellow , yellow petals
A pinnacle upon its head
