Summer Stay a Bit Longer

SUMMER STAY A WHILE LONGER

The burnt verdant meadows imposed,
While the summer sun fully exposed;
The joyful heat waves come and goes,
Songs with beautiful words composed.

Withered summer grass on display,
Obviously, the rain stayed clearly away,
Dark clouds of smoke far and wide,
I cannot breathe properly anyway!

Variety of gnomes in the garden shine,
Many climbing roses the bees confine;
The gazebo newly built an attraction,
This is the way for summer life as I define.

Why the rush for Autumn to come quickly,
The weather at is best suits the sickly;
Cool and chilled weather bad for the health,
So let us stay under the sun and play Dixie.
