Summer Scents

While warm Summer days become longer, scent from the garden is stronger. Sweet pea and honeysuckle creep along the trestle. Roses burst to bloom as they make room in raised beds. Open heads.

ahh, what a beautiful way to do the challenge So nice, Jean. I love this. I responded to your comment to me on my Degeneration Blues poem and also want to say sorry about your sister. I have the PRE-osteoporosous condition. Forgot its name. I was shocked about it since I do weight bearing exercises and get a lot of calcium. I could hardly believe it.

My big brother was recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma Andrea. The genetic inheritance is truly a Russian roulette affair. I am pre wanting to know what mine will be.

Morning Jan. Ìt's lovely to be a midwife doing ante natal clinics around the garden, wondering which little shrub or bush will be the next to pop something out.

Your use of rhyme in this restrictive form enhances your words Jean. Very nicely it captures the summer joys. : ) 7
