I think these haikus are both resplendent in their imagery, and they pierce to the 'heart of the matter.' The second one actually jarred me, as if I heard the cable car (bell) clanging. Left me breathless, in a good way. Superb penning, Panagiota! Joy and Light, Gershon

Love love these!! I lived in Hayward in late 80's and loved my visits to SF.

Andrrea! I recall you telling me about Hayward! I lived 4 eventful, beautiful years in Bagdad by the Bay! Probably, the best four years of my life. I only left so Maria could attend a non-drug and non-gun filled High School in Walnut Creek which I loved. It was so small then, homey and loving! Panagiota xx
