Summer Rhapsody

Crimson sun of the demure dawn burns to show summer hasn’t yet gone, sapphire sky at high noon still glows with shining shimmer of its own. From the horizon hot wind blows, warm ripple on bowing leaves flows, lean trees sieve streaks of sunburst light, ground weaves the lattice of shadows. Southern zephyr of tinged twilight wafts vibrant hues of the dusk bright, spreads colors on canvas for me, paints summer picture of delight. Nightfall through tepid air I see, moondust dances in ecstasy. In its recess my enthralled mind treasures the summer rhapsody.
