Dear Kim,, this is beautifully evocative! the way you’ve captured the essence of a moment with such vivid imagery — the glass, the stripes, the colors — it all paints a picture that feels both personal and patriotic. Woww, sweet Kim! This tanka is absolutely mesmerizing and beautiful in every way, you've woven all the words in such an exquisite combination! "Merlot reflections" I could actually visualise them and the "muted-purple silhouette" how profound and intriguing is that! I really love the title as well, so serene!
