Dear Kim,, this is beautifully evocative! the way you’ve captured the essence of a moment with such vivid imagery — the glass, the stripes, the colors — it all paints a picture that feels both personal and patriotic. "Merlot reflections" I could actually visualise them and the "muted-purple silhouette" how profound and intriguing is that! I really love the title as well, so serene!
