Summer Rain
Why do we love the Summer rain?
When in Winter it is then our pain,
It is, after all, the same water you know,
Just an unusual amount of flow.
I guess humanity could be why,
We detest it when it is hot and dry,
Cause friendship is comfy in parts,
But smothering is a pain in the ****.
Be grateful for those quaint rain drops,
In small amounts or in great big lots,
Cause friends will come and go on by,
If you're one to insist on staying dry.
