SUMMER RAIN
God cried today
His tears fertilizing
The womb of
Mother Earth:
The wet smell
Of nature’s essence
Saturated the air
As moist breeze blew
Breath of new life
Into dried hopes
Wilted in despair:-
The rainy season
Of life has begun:
Maybe love’s peace
Will hollow her footprints
In the canvassing mud:-
