Summer Rain

All the complicated thoughts on your face in the mirror, their distortions whine like a drooping branch in the wind, while the drops of rain grow heavier, louder, against the bedroom window, bringing life back to a raging drought, preparing the grasses and corn to grow like the wind into a wavelike climax of late summer.
