     remnants of the day
hide away among the reeds…

An easy seven for me, David.

traditional haiku has a cut to the 3rd line [you have a nice leap!] & it is in the required 2 parts with a season word [you have achieved both!] yet traditional haiku is also objective & though this is a lovely 3 line verse, the first 2 lines are subjective, you have personified the day by having it hide. It took me 60 years to learn the difference between subjective & objective but it really helped my writing to know! Light & Love
