Summer Lovin'
Blossom blows playfully fluttering in the warm gentle breeze
A birdsong chorus singing tunes from dawn until late dusk
Childrens joyful shouts are heard in streets and across gardens
Sprinklers water and lawn mowers cut keeping green fingers busy
Planes fly by painting white ribbons on blue canvas up above
Young couples lying in parks embracing the beauty of youth
The sun shines brightly bringing warmth and happiness to all
We’re Summer lovin’, we’re all loving the Summer while it lasts…..
(Summers not quite here yet - but nearly!!)
