Summer Love
When kinetic vigor set our cores
In the bottomless chasm now growing bold
Minds awakened as season unlocked doors
And fueled our hearts ensnared in the cold
Nature brought to heat feelings set aside
Temperatures up, so was mood’s desire
Getting warmed up all passion kept inside
Both uncovering love’s endless fire
Emotions went fervid as sun-heat reigned
Our souls mesmerized with zeal burning bright
Gentle frames melted and became entwined
Lovers enchanted by solstice delight
While trees and flowers began to wither
A love bloomed in the full warmth of summer
