Summer Lights
Endless delight
as songs of
timeless joy
wing their way
into
our open minds
Let's get up and dance
and the dance
will lead us to freedom
songs will show us
the way
Moths are attracted
to light
We're attracted to sounds, lights,
and the promise of a better day
We'll flutter like a moth
around a lightbulb
lightly cutting through
the torrid atmosphere
seeking peace
on this mid - summer evening
before drifting off
to dreamland
Notice the fireflies
glowing in our garden
