Summer Is Nearly Upon Us
Summer is approaching fast
Time for laughter and cheers
Stoking up the barbecue
And drinking ice cold beers
It's only a matter of weeks away
The season for good fun
People will be smilier
Because of the bright sun
Lazing around the garden
To build up on the tan
Seeking shade when it's too hot
And cooling with a fan
Ray-bans on to mask the beams
Which could be seen as vain
Lounging on a sun bed
Until it starts to rain
Inside we start to swelter
The clouds have gone to pot
Soon we'll all be moaning
Because it is too hot!
