Notes About The Poem

Ducks and Swans on the Ottawa River

Farmer's Market in downtown Ottawa

Summer Fair in Ottawa

Summer In Canada

oh summertime
in Canada
short and sweet
put on my flip flops
pretty sundress
and go for a walk
pick wildflowers
on a forest path
go for a hike
farmer's market
picnic in the park
feed the ducks
and the swans
dangle my feet
in a cool stream
collect odd rocks
go to the beach
walk barefoot
find some pretty shells
watch the sunset
take a country drive
(the scenes are nice)
chase butterflies
go to a fair
play some games
ride the ferris wheel
the roller coaster
fly on the swings
eat a hotdog
and some candy floss
take a boat ride
meant for tourists
sip lemonaide
maybe a drive in
(with my honey)
or maybe-
snuggle on the porch
listen to crickets
singing to the moon

this is also a summer in many other places. VERY good way to do the theme, sweet friend. A sure winner.
