Summer Fling

Palm trees cover the fence line
water, warm, kisses the air
the lawn chair so inviting
flip flops echo wild laughter
an old radio jamming
sunglasses hold the sunlight
a bag full of summer reads
aloe to cool down your heart
a beach towel of memories
the pool closed for the season

Congratulations Melani on your second place win, you met all the requirements for the contest and I really loved the humor of the last line. I have been there in summer!
