Summer Escapades

mud pies and hopscotch played in the sand nurturing guidance from my Daddy's hand butterflies and flowers my dolly and toys I left them behind to be one of the boys tattle-tales and trouble-makers were sent on their way imagination and laughter filled most of our day sibling bonding performed with a scream singing and sharing and home-made ice cream no crying nor whiners no time left to pout fearless from sun up till the last stars are out chores done for change and candy in a sack freedom and pinkie wishes till school started back
