Summer Came and Went

Summer has come and gone,
The days and nights are long.

The warmth of friendship, persons that care,
Friends are everywhere.

Walks along the Conservation Area,
Beautiful tall spruces and pines.

The wildflowers by the lake,
The lilies unfolding beautifully and greeting the dawn.

Warm weather and sunshine days,
Blessing the good neighbors.

Meeting neighbors while walking,
Stopping to say hello and wish you a nice day.

The last of the C.N.E. days,
Where you have many activities that are pleasureable.

Your beautiful relatives came and went,
Shared walks and friendship.

The sound of the bees and hummingbirds,
Singing you the songs of summer.
