Summer
Such summer days as these are merry bright,
and altogether they portend good times.
Sol shortens nights, again extends the light,
the time is right for jesters bold and mimes.
Relax and take your ease at distant stays,
enjoy pursuits that make for sweet release.
Come autumn's total labor breacing ways,
when we must say goodby, abode's for lease.
Prepare yourself anew this late toward use,
and make the schemes for profit's timely gain.
Subdued till fleeting moments cry deduce,
and action shakes awake our dormant brain.
Somnambulistic force of summer late,
you see us walking fro, a slumber's gait.
