Summer
Water lapping against golden shores
as kites fly in the
azure skies
attached to children who go running
dogs frolic in and out of the water
chasing sticks
and shaking themselves into a dry state of being...
summer blasts it's way past spring and flies
headlong into autumn
staying for a short time to
tan the bodies of those who bask in the molten rays of sunshine
I am loving this summer
as it calls me forth to play
I dust of my bicycle and
that's all I need to say
