Summer
Summer sky raises scarlet sun of dulcet dawn,
burns the noon air when the spring nip is gone.
Summer scorches the spring’s last budding hue.
The bare garden waits for the blooming time new.
Summer crunch of the fawn foliage has begun.
In the cool pond swims the fleet of fluffy swan.
Summer shades splash from palette of twilight,
paint alluring warm fresco of summer delight.
Summer evening is ideal to sit out on easy chair,
enjoy a glass of beer in gently blowing balmy air.
Summer is relaxing time to go to the soothing sea,
play with the surging cool waves with idyllic glee.
Summer comes with the hot days of craving dream,
time to be in the arctic circle with vanilla ice cream.
