Summer
Spring takes its leave.
Now, humid, hot sultry eves
Lighting bugs in flight
Lighting up the night
Crickets loudly chirping.
From the bird bath, mosquitoes slurping.
Frogs calling for a mate.
Limited time to procreate.
A loud nightly cacophony
The Summer symphony
