Sugar Rush

Bel Air by the sun, our glamour comes undone The romantic in me paints us in blues and sunshine Tell me can you feel that blissful sugar rush From the sweetness of my mind Birthed from the lair of my open heart In my irises glare a benevolent thinker Wording our portrait to a piece of old paper Don't know how I penetrate through you Maybe it's enough to never have a clue And just let me soak in your mood You're nothing I ever wished But all that I will ever need Respite you buried deep inside of me Forever be enough to suture my misery But silently reside in your brazen psyche A renaissance man wallowing in his pity Happiness isn't always a guarantee All of our lucky times can dry out in a heartbeat Still my sugar rush keeps you flowing Down my crazy contemporary theories That entertainment surely tighten my grips I'm shutting the door, for my horizon is finally in pink
