Suffer This Child
Written for all children that suffer from abuse,child trafficking
neglectfulness,and any kind of child abuse, my heart bleeds
for our children...
Dear God:
what did I do wrong?
I'm weak and little
while they're so big and strong
Dear God:
what can I say?
and Lord why
do I have to pay?
Heavenly Father:
I just get in their way
there's cussing and fighting
and drinking all day
Dear God:
I pray please keep me safe
till this night ends
and a new day breaks
Dear God:
my tears have dried
I'm broken and hurt
and as I wonder
what's my life worth
Dear God:
as I slowly die
welcome me home
to be by your side
Father in Heaven:
suffer this child
as I come home to you
and forgive them Lord
they know not what they do...
