Suddenly Swans
Suddenly swans descend on a peaceful pond,
breaking the silence found on a lonely bench.
I follow every graceful move as though we were dancing
to music only shared in moments golden.
I wonder if they notice the intrusion
on their evening swim.
It is as though time has stopped and allowed a gift.
I stood and walked back into my world,
vowing to reflect when I need to smile.
