Suddenly Spring
SUDDENLY SPRING
Magenta and tangerine petals
Tantalize the sky of my eyes
Appearing as faithful as a new day
Gone the days of gray and dreary
In their stead handsome brown trunks
And vainglorious green leaves of oak
Winter indeed bows, gives way to fair lady of Spring
Branches burgeoning in an endless bliss of birdsong
