Suddenly

Suddenly

We often look through cardboard boxes in search of true laughter
Perhaps a message to expose the noise from the great here after
Shatter the silence & form a line drawn in the sand
When will we be the one's to understand

Our voice has fallen on deaf ears filled with sullen tears
A tear drop lone scattered through the solace of the many years
Suddenly we held hands amidst the sadness & pain
Let's dig in a given chance at which to depend my friend

Through the solace of knowing that you are there with a warm embrace
We long to retrace those vast memories in the sand
Yet through the Autumn leaves we sense a breeze sought fallen embers
Shallow pond on the other side of town sound the alarm

We search for hidden solace amidst the inner pain
Lest of course I refrain a distant change
Suddenly your eyes look fixed on the ambiance of the day
A bright cloud of hope that helps me to cope

The message is very clear you want others to draw near
An angelic promise in the dark has come to the fullest of light
Light the spark that ignited the inner flame to what I have been looking for
Lest I implore another opened door

Suddenly life has new meaning to me through it's twist & turns
Many neglect this notion of thought & live in vast uncertainty
A church stained glass memory on it's vested pitch
Makes many an onlooker often fall in a ditch
