Suddenly
Suddenly afraid of the unknown without knowing why I sat up in the stillness of the bedroom Someone or something had slipped into my dreams then slipped away again Fear raced forward in my heart as I tried to remember who or what it was My solitude turned on me And I thought I was losing you Until I remembered you were already gone Full moon madness came across the gorge outside the window And spilled into the room
