Suddenly
one moment she was dancing
to applause of chakra colours
bells and whistles at full blast
fading as the moon took over
muted abruptly to a screech
eclipsed she sought refuge
in thoughts and memories
reverberations of a future yet untold
unfolding feelings and emotions
and insurmountable sadness
nevertheless
but all but for more
she knew
nothing was permanent
as she embraced
what would be
